He does have a great sense of humor! I went to great lengths to get tickets the time before you saw him but hurricane Rita canceled that event.

I still have my ticket and program. The ticket looks like a Superbowl ticket, except with the pope on it. I guess the program is actually the missal. I have never seen so many people in that stadium.

It was about 100 degrees that day.

I got the day off from school so I could go.

My friend's father worked at Boston University, and the procession route was a short walk from his office. I've got a great pic someplace of Pope John Paul II in front of, of all places, the Mother Church of the Church of Christ Scientist.
