Is it technically an allergy...
If you throw up after eating said food, but don't get hives or anything? I mean throwing up every time you eat said food.

I knew I couldn't have crab or scallops. As I learned tonight, eating "seafood chowder" without knowledge of the ingredients was also a bad idea.

I'm a smart one, as you can tell. :sarcasm:

1. The throwing up is very possibly saving you ...
... from developing those other symptoms you mentioned.

2. I don't know but
I sure would not mess around with eating seafood and especially shellfish if I was you. Knew someone who had life threatening reactions to the shellfish you mentioned. He found out it also included clams and abalone and it was a close call with death to find out.
