6. We just finished our two weeks of summer
meaning the snow will be flying soon. Hope we don't break any more records. (two feet in one day, five feet in four weeks).

7. sort of
It will have the same shape from different latitudes but as we know, the seasonal swings are more extreme the farther you are away from the tropics.

9. degrees corresponding to the Earth's 23.44° axial tilt

The left-right axis is time and corresponds to how far ahead or behind the sun is against a fixed clock. If you set up a camera on a tripod and took a picture of the sun every day at the same time, it would look something like this:

13. No
It's degrees north or south from equator which can translate into sunrise/set times but that translation will depend on your latitude.

At the equinoxes, the plot is at zero degrees meaning the sun is directly over the equator. During the solstices, it's 23 degrees north or south of the equator. The rest of the time, it's somewhere in between.

10. We never have a sunset after 8:00pm here.
Since we don't change our clocks the latest sunset we have is around 7:45pm.
We like it that way. The sooner the sun sets, the better in the summer.
Tonight the sun set at 7:10pm.
