5. I spent my share of half hours in front of the 'tube...

Watching reruns of The Beaver as I was five when the first run ended in '63. That was somewhat reality TV to me growing up in the mid sixties, but none of my friends families were like that and mine certainly wasn't. Wasn't until I hit my teens that I realized that nobody was like that.:rofl:

I really don't see myself as old (although I think my kids do :) ), until I see pics of my contemporaries like these. Then I just go ride my dirtbike or kick a soccerball around with my daughter and suddenly I'm 20 again. :)

It had the main characters in it, the Cleavers and Eddie, except for Hugh Beaumont, since he'd passed on. I don't remember a lot about it, since it was quite awhile ago and didn't last, but I think that Beaver was divorced with kids and was living with his mom. And Wally looked just the same... :wow:
