It's rare that I like all of someone's music. There is only one of her songs that I don't really like a lot, and even that one is pretty good.

since i begrudgingly gave backhanded props about Limp Bizkit last time to take away that "essence of rebellion" from them among my friends (i said they had great pop vocal harmonies in their refrains) -- and thus hopefully ended their popularity that microcosmic bit sooner -- let me do the same for Lady Gaga: she has an excellently crafted disposable-commercial visual image, with a sound engineered to suit.

a pity, because i love good pop and dance music. but maybe she'll pull a Pink and surprise me by getting a better songwriter, sound engineer to refashion her image into a more lasting mode.

Friend of mine told me she actually admired Gaga because she actually worked hard to make it. I don't know anything about her though...for the most part, sounds like pre-packaged stuff to me. But that one song...I don't know...I just feel it. And really, only the one song.
