I used to have it myself. I quit it when my health started to go down hill. She knows she has a problem, her own husband has said as much. I hope she gets the help she needs but in the meantime, she's getting modeling contracts and people are trying to copy her. That's fucked up.

some people eat when depressed, others can't. I'm one of those that can't eat if I'm depressed. The smallest I got because of it was 97lbs, that was when my father died 15 years ago. My sister has the same problem.

It hurts to look at her. I've read blind items on gossip blogs about her having an eating disorder. I don't throw that term around lightly, but I really think she does. It's sad. When I've heard her interviewed, she comes across as very sweet.

If someone posted a pic of me here and said, "Why doesn't she diet?" I know that a lot of DUers would come down hard on them.

Yes, I despise the standards of "beauty" that society has imposed upon women and men. I hate the fact that we're encouraged to diet when we don't fall within certain guidelines, instead of examining habits and changing them. But I don't think putting thin people down is a solution to that.

Not everybody who is large is guilty of gluttony; and not every thin person is guilty of self-starvation. Some are. Big whoop. We should stop judging people based on their size.
