1. He's a terrific actor...
I loved him in Sleepy Hollow...

So much energy! 15 projects is significant...

I hope so much that he's finally kicked his drug habit...

3. I like him too. Sounds like he may have replaced one habit with another.
Working a lot can become addictive or obsessive if one is wired that way.

20. This is from years ago...
I could be mistaken, but it seems to me that I recall his having to do some sort of rehab...

But, as I say, it was some time ago, and I haven't heard anything bad about him in some time...

Sorry, sweetie...

23. I hope you are wrong Peggy!!
I'll have to look it up myself but I always thought he was clean and sober (within reason aka, wine drinking and being an Indian.) He's from my tribe and his life has been relatively drama free for the last ten years.

25. Thank you for that
He's a bit of a hero to me coming from the same tribe (Cherokee) and I knew he had cleaned up his stuff in the last years.

2. What's his problem?
If I lived in the south of France with a gorgeous model and a beautiful little daughter, I'd be staying at home a lot.

18. SHe's not a model. She's a singer/actress,
They have two kids now, a boy, Jack, and the girl-Lily Rose is around 10 now, but my question IS....weren't they supposed to get married in APril or even June? I can't find a word about it....I wonder what's up??? Did one of them chicken out? ..I think he is very much a family man, and they try to be together as much as possible. Actually not in France as much as before....who knows?

4. AND hulu.com just started carrying
"21 Jump Street". Back in the days, I preferred Richard Greico, but I think it's time to take another look. :yum:

22. When you verbalize something like that, it escapes into the universe.
And now, somehow, it will happen.

Thanks a lot.

7. He'd be perfect in a biopic of Edgar Allen Poe -but that doesn't seem to be forthcoming.

9. Actually, Jon Hamm (from Mad Men) does an amazing James Mason
He played him in a Halloween skit on SNL last year.

I'm a bit of a Mason fan, and I was frankly astonished at how well he captured his mannerisms and accent. Much as I dig Depp, Hamm would be way better as Mason.

But it looks like it's been pulled.

I think it might be on hulu. I'll look for it when I get home from work in a couple of hours and post it for you if I can find it.

James Mason

Johnny Depp

John Hamm

I still think Depp would be Spot On........but Hamm would service.

21. I doubt that he will be playing any character that isn't a "cool grotesque"
He seems like a nice enough guy and all, but apparently playing "regular people" is quite difficult
I would like to see him attempt that one day.
