3. Ha!
What about the coworker who doesn't wash their hands after leaving the lab...And our lab used to handle stuff like vaginal swabs, along with urine and human serum....

4. I'll take a petroleum and/or toxic waste lab over bodily fluids ANY day....
Fortunatly, I now only work with water, various water treatment chemicals, and miscellaneous benign solids.

5. i'm a bit of anal about these things so i find that horrifying
i even make mental notes of whom i won't shake hands with because you know :eyes:

i'm kind of anal retentive about hand washing and cleanliness. add to that the training i went through working in a hospital during college (universal precautions)...well when i touch certain surfaces, knowing what i know, i'm off to the bathroom to wash my hands. :D

9. I wash my hands before I use the bathroom
Each morning I take a shower and wrap Happy in 2 layers of cloth. So when it comes time 2 P, Happy is theoretically far cleaner than my hands. Therefore washing afterward would be rather like closing the barn door after the horse got out (pun intended).

19. Aim
Except in cases of kidney or urinary tract infection (UTI), urine is virtually sterile and nearly odorless.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urine#Composition

It's probably more pure than the water in many areas. And besides, I have industrial strength kidneys buffered by large amounts of ethyl alcohol. I can drink from a stagnant pond and piss glacier water.

13. LOL! I remember years ago, DJ Charles Laquidara on WBCN in Boston went on a rampage
on the air about someone he worked with who did not wash his hands after using the restroom. God, it went on for a month.
