Packing for my move to Alabama. I would rather be hung up by my toenails than pack to move.

Does anybody have any great tips on organizing, packing, getting motivated?

1. Drinking while packing always worked for me

I don't seem to mind the chore as much when I have a decent buzz going. Also, if you give up and decide to goof off you won't care as much about not getting anything done. :)

And I wont be so particular about the way I pack things, either. Good advice. :toast:

3. Wait until the last minute...

Carefully separate food items from "stuff".

Shove "stuff" in boxes.

Tape.

Load.

MOVE.

4. I am way ahead of you on the waiting until the last minute part !

This is the last minute. Well, I pick up my UHaul trailer tomorrow morning, I was hoping to have everything boxed and ready to go at that point.

Save a step....eat all the food tonight.

THEN, just dump stuff in boxes, tape, lift, load.

Let God sort it out in Alabama!
