edit!!!!!! that was an exaggeration!
Edited on Thu Jul-30-09 03:57 PM by Kali
since I had to buy tires. AGAIN.

:nuke::mad: :grr: :grr: :nuke: :nuke:  :nuke: :grr:  :hurts: <<=== seems appropriate as well, don't you think?

edit: DUer's are just too good - I'm tearing up. No help needed, I was just bitching about tires - please there are others that really need help.

THANKYOU - you know who you are.

1. That sucks. What happened to your tires?
I hope you can live that frugally for two weeks, cuz that's not much money for food.

4. Blowout? What's the brand name? If that brand is on record for recall because of defective tires,
go for a class action lawsuit.

That is a presumption on my part; could be any number of things. But it's not difficult to fathom why more and more people point to "crap worksmanship and quality" these days.

8. thanks - no the crappy workmanship is just the conditions of our roads
not even dirt - they are rocks.

7. our roads just eat them up
need yearly replacements almost, doesn't matter the type or how pricey, they just get chewed up. (also see my edit - I was exaggerating for effect, not wealthy by any means but have a freezer and enough to eat, I'm really embarrassed about the error)

13. Yearly?!
Okay THAT sucks! Damn. It's good to know that you didn't really have to decide between tires and food.

5. That sucks!
Sorry you are in that position. Got any stores with bulk sections in your area for grains or rices? Whole chickens can be made into meals for at least 3 or 4 nights (roasted chicken and then soup) and a big pot of spaghetti lasts for a few more. Good luck Kali.
