I have a theory that cable tv only has about 20 movies that are shown over and over:
among them:

Pride & Prejudice - I swear it's on constantly; if you've already seen the LAw and Order, you can always watch Pride and Prejudice again.

Men in Black

Independence Day

Twister

3. And it's the wrong Pride And Prejudice, too.
They could at least get that much right.

7. Worse still: AMC not only has just 6 westerns they rotate on Saturdays, but...
... they only show a handful of scenes from each. I can't tell you how many times I've tuned in to see Doug McClure ask to marry Jimmy Stewart's daughter or Ward Bond swearing in John Wayne and Jeffrey Hunter for a posse.

11. Back in the Dark Ages, it used to be so expensive to buy an album
that when you bought a new one, you'd play it over and over again until you were sick of it.

Now, don't get me wrong, I loves me some Kevin Spacey, and he looks yummy in that flick, but there's only so much of that movie I can take!

16. Just to mention another one - Shawshank Redemption is on 24/7/365
If you've got 100 channels you could watch it 3 times at once.
