Poll question: Summertime dilemma
The greatest joy of being a teacher is the summers off (yeah, you heard right)

160 acres of Wild, Wonderful West Virginia are right outside. I can go fish, swim, hike...

On the other hand, I have animals to look after, a lame horse, stalls to clean, a garden to tend. There is ALWAYS something to do.

So the question is: should I work or should I play?

1. Try a 2 for 1 deal
for every 2 hours of work you get an hour of play

2. good advice ;)
I did both. Fixed some things on the goats shed, rigged up a new shelf & finished their climbing platform.

Then me and the missus went fishing :) She caught a nice largemouth bass which we'll cook up and a good catfish which she threw back.

Just another great summer day :)

3. Take care of the animals and forget the garden for now.
I taught school for all of six years before I ran away screaming. You need all the stress-busting you can get.
