When I was a kid my older brother told me that I was left on the doorstep by gypsies.
And that one night very soon...they would come back and steal me away.

1. My two sons told their younger sister that we got her by trading
some magic beans for her.

She thought that she came with the house we bought, and her real parents took the magic beans in trade, and we got her along with the house.

I didn't find out about that one until she was in high school, when her brothers were giving her grief about the magic beans were worth a lot more than she was, and how we got screwed in the deal.

2. I just remember thinking....wow...that makes sense
I felt like I completely didn't fit in with my family or community from a very young age.

Gyspsies sounded about right though.

My older brother was trying to both hurt my feelings and scare me.

But instead he gave me a glimmer of hope.

4. If the gypsy lifestyle appeals to you
Here's a book that sounds interesting~

maybe you'd like Tumbleweed Tiny houses, some are similar to gypsy wagons!~

My cousin and I had a dream of taking a horse-drawn gypsy wagon vacation in Switzerland many years ago, after seeing an article somewhere.

for fifty cents.

A friend told me that she'd been that her mother found her in a box by the garbage.

I have four sisters, but we never said anything like that.

and how he always bragged about his wonderful home and family.

We figured he must have had another family somewhere that he really liked......
