I just read about, and saw your photos, of Max. No wonder you wanted another German Shepherd!
How is Mitzee reacting to the new baby in the house? I'm glad she's young enough to play with him... we got a new pup with a fairly old dog once, and she went around nipping at his neck and wearing him out, poor old guy.

16. They're Getting Along Great...

We introduced them outside and she bristled for a second, but once they got a good enough "sniff" of each other the tail-wagging and licking commenced. She's pretty interested in his puppy chow and all the new toys though.

There's a glitch on this site right now and I can't see most of my bookmarks - I was going to link some of the other threads about Max & Mitzee in the OP for some context but they're not available right now.

Max was six when we got Mitzee and she was the one who wouldn't leave him alone.
