As has already been said, the British version was funny, to me.

I'm not a fan of the American version. I've watched it a few times, tried to like it, and just end up dozing off or doing something else.

Now I'm kind of hooked. I have to go back and watch the earlier seasons, though.

....I do enjoy it a lot. I actually think all humor aside, Steve Carrell does a great job in just creating a character in Michael Scott. He's the kind of guy all indications would lead you to detest, but there's something about him that you have to root for anyways.

That being said, different strokes for different folks. I never got into 30 Rock, but a lot of people like that show.
