Help with Mozilla Firebird.

How do you add media programs and such to this browser? I really don't want to go back to Netscape if I can help it, but nothaving the media capability is a real drag.

That should help with plugins. What media program, specifically, are you talking about?

I've had a little trouble getting everything going, but there are a few things that generally work.

For one thing, if you haven't upgraded to version 0.8 (now known as Mozilla Firefox), that could help. Each version gets more complete and more compatible with other software.

Under Options/Downloads, Firefox lets you specify which applications to use to open various types of files.

Also, reinstalling the media programs may get them recognized by Firebird/Firefox if they aren't already.

Finally, if you still have Netscape, just copying all the dll files and such from Netscape's plugins directory to Firebird's might do the trick.
