I'm now aware that athlete's foot sucks with the suckage of 1000 black holes....

I had lived 38 years without getting it, but my luck ran out- I'm guessing I picked it up from the cruise I went on back in April. Does ANYTHING actually get rid of this shit once and for all?

1. yeah but it takes time
wash and dry feets a couple times a day and use fungus cream every time - it will go away in a couple of weeks Try to go barefoot in your house or when ever to keep dry and airy. Change sox frequently, use powder in shoes.

2. Yeah, I've done all of that... It gets better, then flares up again.
I basically don't wear regular shoes unless I'm at work or church- otherwise, I'm in sandals or barefoot. It's not like it's been going on for a long time- I'm just not a very patient person.

:hi:

7. I've read soaking your feet in bleach kills it.
They use to advertise that fact on bleach bottles long ago but the drug companies didn't like it so they had to stop putting it on the bottles.

9. Yeah, Mom suggested that.....
And I'm not far from trying it, scarily enough.

10. well, I think you're suppose to dilute it.
But I've soaked my feet in bleach before - I'm a southerner, we walk around barefoot in SUmmer - and it never caused any damage to my skin. But yeah, dilute it, like half and half and go from there.

11. I was never really into going completely barefooted in the summer....
My parents' property seemed to have a lot of stinging nettles and lawnspur weeds, so I opted for sandals of some sort (started with flip flops, and now I'm a Birkenstock devotee).

12. I've tried to wear flip flops or clogs- something easy I can just slip on and go
cuz damn! how Georgia Red Clay stains! but I love being barefoot so, yeah. I spend lotsa time scrubbing my feet.
