Buying Westin Bed: King or California King?
California King is 4 inches longer, but 4 inches narrower. King is 80 inches wide. California King 76 inches wide. I'm 6'3".

4. Very true.
Dh is 6'5" and we have used a king size for years.
I told him he needs a separate bed for his size 16 FEET, they are so damn big.

3. I went King
I am 6', but have a lot of space to spare below my feet. I say go in and try them. spend 20 minutes on each. Bed buying should not be rushed.

5. depends on the snoring situation
If you snore and sleep with a partner, always get the wider bed - makes it harder for the partner to reach you to kick you.

(If your partner snores, get the narrower bed so you don't have to stretch so far to reach them.)

6. I'll go with the king. I like the extra width.
Great choice in beds. That's the mattress I want!

7. My dear Jack_Dawson!
We bought a CA King because it was the proper width to fit in our (smallish) bedroom!

It's still an enormous bed!

;)

8. I'm 6'3" and really prefer the Cal King
Buying sheets has never been a problem, since I go to a discount store for that stuff (Anna's Linens or Ross Dress for Less). Sleeping partner has never been a problem either, whether it was a girlfriend or a dog; I seem to move vertically more than horizontally, since I have an OCD thing for pillows.

9. California king, for sure - a little extra footroom and your bedmate is
a couple of inches closer. Plus, I'm a patriotic Californian and I couldn't say anything else...

10. We have the Heavenly Bed
We have a king; my husband's six feet tall. Get the bigger one. ;-)

This is the greatest bed I have ever owned in my life. It was worth every penny.

13. So the bed you have...
is 80 inches wide. I should get the 76 inch-wide (but longer) bed?

14. Do you need more width or length?
I notice that others mentioned CK sheets are hard to find. Lands' End has them.

www.landsend.com

Good luck with your bed. I know you'll love it. I never want to get out of ours, that's for sure! :woohoo:

11. We have a Cal King - I could have nothing else. It's great - I recommend it
to anyone with a large enough room.....and a large dog (we have a 115 lb Great Dane/Doberman - he is a bed hog.)
