1. I'm hoping for a day all consenting adults can marry if they wish
I also look forward to more weddings we can dance at!

We danced to Marc Cohn's "True Companion" at our wedding.

6. I didn't have a dance, but two friends of mine had one of my favorite songs as their wedding dance.
Haruka and Lostinva had "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol as their wedding song. One of my favorites ever.

Sarah McLachlan - Posession

Which was about an obsessed fan.

Still works, in hindsight, I guess.

11. First marriage--Celine Dion's "Because you Loved Me."
I don't know why I liked that song. I had an attack of the lame. Also, no one was letting me pick Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home".

Second marriage--eloped to Las Vegas, no dancing. But "Just the Two of Us" played on the radio in the limo on the way to the chapel, so that's kind of a sentimental song and also much more appropriate and classy.

22. From Moroder's Metropolis - Pat Benatar Here's My Heart
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVdStJksHP0

Unfortunately the Jersey Shore band we hired masacred it and it was unrecognizable. But on the video we overdubbed Pat so that's how I remember it.

26. Moondance Van Morrison
Edited on Sun Jun-21-09 10:58 PM by buzzard
25 years this August

Well it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
You know the night's magic
Seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight
Seems to shine in your blush...

Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with a' you, my love?

Well I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait till the morning has come
And I know now the time is just right
And straight into my arms you will run
And when you come my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
There and then all my dreams will come true dear
There and then I will make you my own
And every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
And I know how much you want me that, you can't hide...

Can I just have one a' more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with a' you, my love?

Well it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies
And all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
And I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart-strings that play soft and low
You know the night's magic
Seems to whisper and hush
And all the soft moonlight
Seems to shine in your blush...

One more moondance with you
In the moonlight
On a magic night
la, la, la, la, there's a moonlight
On a magic night
Can't I just have one more dance
With you my love?
