Anyone else like kielbasa on the grill?
I grill it all the time and pulled some out for tonight.

But I was thinking of doing this:

Gonna cut up the kielbasa and put it in aluminum foil with cut potatoes, chopped onion, jalapeno peppers and salt and pepper. Sprinkle it with olive oil and maybe a bit of hot sauce. Think it will taste alright?

4. I like to pour 1 in of beer into a pan and slowly cook the sausages
beer steamed on the grill, yummers

I do this with any type of sausage, brat, or skin-incased meat products I can find...andouille, boudin......

6. That combo will be good.
I'd grill the kielbasa whole to get a nice crisp skin on it, grill thick slices of onion brushed with a little oil, grill the jalapenos whole, and bake the taters on the grill -- cut the potato in half, add a little oil and S&P, and wrap in foil. They'd go on first since they take the longest time to cook.

I'm not so good at grilling and prefer to grill stuff separately then combine on the plate.

8. I like the crispness
But this way will fuse the flavors together and hopefully give it more of a "dish" flavor rather than separate ingredients.

14. I think so too
I was going to do the others w/out the kielbasa and cook that separate, but thought throwing it together would be good.

11. I think it will taste great! I'd be careful not to overdo the jalapenos, and the
sizing of the potatoes might take some experimentation, but I think it's a good-sounding combo (I got hungry just reading about it)...

15. Just a few peppers
Enough for flavor but not to make it hot. I'm thinking about 3/4" potato chunks.

30. Sounds great, but if you're lucky enough to...
live near a real Polish deli, you might pick up some Grillowa.

There's one in Polishtown in Riverhead that has over two dozen varieties of sausage and they are fantastic. Dunno if the ones online are as good or travel well: http://www.polana.com/category/Polish_Sausages

(Even though my doctor threatens me with thoughts of a grisly death for even looking at them.)
