Anyone watching the U.S. Open today?

Thursday was mostly rained out, so they're still finishing the second round this morning and they'll start the 3rd this afternoon at Bethpage Black, which was the first public course to host the U.S. Open.

Anyone following this year's Open?

While I always root for Sergio, I really don't care who wins - I just enjoy watching good golf. What a great course!

2. I'm pretty much the same way

I don't have a set favorite, though I pretty much always wind up pulling for the big underdog and out-of-nowhere stories. Mostly I just like seeing the good golf and the great courses in the majors.

The round is heating up now. I hope they don't get rained out again ...

He's actually a college sports information director but was invited to do contract work with the U.S. Open this summer.

On an aside, I hate when NBC does coverage 'cos I get SO tired of hearing Johnny Miller criticize everything. I call him the Boomer Esiason of golf coverage.

Late afternoon is best, after mass quantities of beer have been swilled, so the drunks in the crowd can all try to out-shout the rest of them
