3. suggestion #2
Edited on Sat Jun-20-09 01:04 AM by hibbing
Hi,
Suggestion number 2, not something I would never want to do, but how about the Mall of America? You could just people watch and I am sure they have some nice AC going.

Well this one is sinking like a stone. I appreciate your posts tonight. I see some of yours have a lot more staying power than others!

Good luck with the vacation in air conditioning quest.

Peace

4. Suggestion #3
Hi,
How about a cold shower, no drying off and sitting in front of a fan with a snack of your choice and a cold beverage?

Peace

5. that works really well. A time honored cool down in the days before A/C was
everywhere.

or run through the sprinkler

when we were kids we used to just hose ourselves off when we got sweaty, sit in the swing in the shade for a bit until our clothes got dry and then back out again.

6. pack your Netflix queue, or join Netflix if you haven't already.
stock up books
make iced tea, in mass quantities

and kick back.

Back in the Old Days, before I had to work for a living, I spent my summers reading in every possible location in the house. Or the yard. Or the porch.

This included all relatives' homes as well. Granny had a mahvelous porch swing that was fully shaded, my great aunt had a big old metal glider with cushions on HER porch, the other grandmother had a screened porch with a glider AND a big mimosa tree you could sit in

7. Ever see the episode of Married With Children where the Bundys moved into the supermarket?
I've always thought that would be a fun and talk about maximum a/c!
