Poll question: Anne Bancroft and MelBrooks

We discussed this tonight, Sparkly and me.

There's no way to know the truth, so just speculate ....... Did she ever do her part in his doing a "pull my finger"?

I think she would, she did, and they both got secret, delicious pleasure in each of them being so silly.

What do you think? Did she or didn't she?

A life without laughs is not a full life.

2. Yes.
Let's just say that I'm well within six degrees of separation from them and the reports were that they were as funny and playful as one would expect from their public personae.

3. That's exatly what I've heard about them.
She was a stealth clown and he was an overt, irrepressible clown.

7. She directed and acted in one of the funniest, sweetest movies ever ...... Fatso

Probably around 1980 ...... she and Dom Deluise play Italian brother and sister.

It is the sweetest movie and at the same time so riotously funny. I own it have watched it recently. It really is timeless.

4. The mere thought that she wouldn't is so implausible that it makes my head hurt.
They really, truly were perfect for each other.
