So I've got my bird feeders in a row hanging from an old swing set
A-frame. From Left to right: bird bath, small seed mesh feeder, suet, tower feeder and hummingbird feeder. I hung a huge fuchsia between the suet and tower feeder to attract the hummingbirds. Since then a squirrel has figured out how to get on top of the swing set, scurry across to the fuchsia and then hang by his back legs from the fuchsia to reach out and gobble seed from the tower feeder. One of my daughters says he used the same technique to clean out the suet cage as well.

That's wild enough, but now one of my chickens has managed to fly up to the top of the swing set and is walking back and forth trying to figure out how the squirrel does it so she can get at the tower feeder, too.

1. I converted my niece's old swing set into a squirrel swing set by
hanging bird feeders on it. :-) I gave up on the suet feeder because they figured out how to open it and abscond with the suet. Actually they would just drag it into the lilies/4 O'Clocks ( I don't know the real name of these plants/flowers but the blooms open up each afternoon) for safe keeping. I tried reinforcing the latch on the feeder but they would swing on it until it became dislodged from the set. Once it hit the ground the lil turds managed to unlock it, again. Quite a few birds show up also but none with the athletic abilities of the squirrels.

2. In northern CT, this would be called a bear-feeder.
My neighborhood bears would love you!

4. I think about 4 or 5 roosters, about 20 or so hens , 31 2- week old chicks and one 8 week old hen.

My kid's teacher dropped off the 8 week old hen. She was rooting around in his shrubbery. We figure she's someone Easter present who wasn't cute any more, so they let her loose.
