1. Leftover beef stew...
...it's one of those "comfort food" dishes that always benefits from a day or two in the fridge. I stick pretty close to the traditional recipes, with good-quality cubed chuck, potatoes, carrots, and peas.

and stir-fry from the first bushel of goodies from the CSA.

boc-choi, kale, turnip greens, & carrots in balsamic vinegar sauce.

white rice.

And a bottle of Ommegang Three Philosophers Belgian Ale.

got all carried away last night and don't feel like cooking tonight. would have had leftovers but the boy who supposedly moved out is back for a visit. Sigh. (It was carne adobado, rice, black beans, and ensalada de col)

13. Leftover wedding food from one of my son's co-workers.
Lets see, we have some rigatoni with meatballs, kielbasi with baked beans, cheesy rice with cauliflower, and a feta cheese salad with black olives and avocado.

Washed it down with a bottle of my oldest son's home-brew.

My daughter made a batch of chocolate chip cookies with walnuts, for dessert.
