So this PHISH V.3 is going swimmingly!
Edited on Tue Jun-09-09 05:37 PM by Bennyboy
Two night ago, one of their best shows in history. Camden. FACE MELTING.

The night before the second set is simply phenominal.

The new tunes are getting worked out and some have really taken off.

You can download all of the shows here:http://phishthoughts.com/nospoilers/

Either torrent or sendspace. GOTTA GET CAMDEN! All of the shows are really good and if you are going to see them, prepare to have your FACE MELTED!

1. Camden was great!
My SO texted me the sets as they happened and I got the download :woohoo:

I am off to Bonnaroo on Thursday so I have two shows to look forward to this week. And I saw Eddie Vedder last night - he was amazing!

2. I used to live in Jersey and never missed a Camden show. So disappointed I missed this one.

Question...I dunno if it's just the mix of the mp3s that are available on livephish.com, but it seems like the sound quality of these new recordings isn't on par with old releases. I dunno if this is due to their new soundguy or just a rushed mix/master job, but since you've been to some shows, have you noticed any sound issues? Particularly, Trey's guitar seems way high in the mix whereas Fishman & Gordon are kind of buried and not as prominent. I miss having Mike's bass pumping in your face.

Maybe I'll download the shows from the link above and that'll solve the problem, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on how they sound live in the venue.

Technically speaking, they seem to be as tight as they were around 1998, but something about these official release mixes doesn't sit right with me.

3. The links I posted are
not the Live Phish recordings, but are pretty good and there is plenty of bottom (theme from the Bottom!!!!)on them.
