HAHAHAHA Sometimes things do work out with your car insurance

My poor stepsister hit another car sometime way back in 2002. In a nutshell she did exactly $800 worth of damage to his car and needed a new bumper for her minivan. Her airbags never even went off.

Fast-forward to 2009 and this guy is still trying to get money out of my stepsister and her car insurance. Of course they fixed his car and the said they would settle for $5000 "pain & suffering" - whatever that means because nothing was found medically wrong with this guy. He wanted $250k, for what we don't know but he spent 7 years and a ton of lawyer fees, got his day in court and his winnings......

I have no clue why $251, seems a bit odd to me. He has 10 days to appeal and my sis's lawyer says he wouldn't be shocked if this bozo attempts it. Crazy thing is, this guy could have gotten $5k if he just walked away a year ago.
