5. I like a buttermilk pancake topped with one egg over easy.
Then I put a little butter and syrup on that. Plus some herb tea. However, I only have it when eating out.

10. I might drink a pot of coffee before lunchtime, but food doesn't sound good to me
in the mornings. I haven't eaten breakfast on a regular basis since I was in high school. IMO, the best breakfasts are the ones you have after the bars have closed and you're on the way home.

12. Eggs Sunny side up with bacon, rye toast & hash browns
If made into an egg & bacon sandwich, add cheddar cheese.

I indulge about twice a year. The rest of the time breakfast is dry cereal with coffee.

22. Eggs Benedict.
Or, an omelet that I first had many moons ago in a long defunct Wash DC eatery named the Gandy Dancer - a light, very fluffy omelet stuffed with ripe avocado, gruyere and a hint of garlic. With iced water and a Bloody Mary.

Otherwise, your typical and boring eggs and bacon.

Failing all that, and when shifting for myself, coffee, or when I'm really desperate, Diet Coke.

46. What, no Southern DUers checked in before me?
I should NOT be the first person mentioning grits.

A huge bowl of cheese grits, properly spiced, with scrambled eggs and sausage mixed in, with lots of fresh fruit and a donut or two to go with it.

Can't eat it regularly or I'd look like a blimp, but it's a wonderful indulgence to have once a month or so.
