Windows Photo Users......a question?
I edit my photos and try to save them (or it does it automatically) and it says "error detected, cannot save photo".

Why?
How do I fix it?

I have other photo programs but I really like the tools with Windows. I have Picasa and Kodak, but again, I can do more with Windows. How do I fix this?

4. Well it looks like it's either the program or the photos
try opening the photos with another program and see what happens. If they open and save fine, then you are dealing with some sort of corruption of the Windows program (which might be fixed with an unistall and reinstall assuming you have the disks). If you get the same errors with other programs, you have some corrupted photos. If you can open them at all, screen capture and paste into Paint may be your best bet.

5. They open and save just fine in Picasa.
And it seems only the most recent photos are this way. older ones save just fine.

6. I would check to see if there are any updates or patches
this could be a known problem that they have already fixed. Failing that, if you have the media so you can reinstall, try uninstall>reboot>reinstall. It just might fix the problem.

8. Check the folder where it is trying to save the photos
If the folder doesn't exist or has no room, that could cause an error.
