3. There's this stuff I found at the store - it's called Benadryl!

And if it was a yellow jacket,

I add a touch of neosporin: those things are carrion eaters and the stings tend carry nasty bacteria!

4. I hate yellow jackets

Honey bees and bumble bees are fine but wasps are just bad news.

15. I use Benadryl all the time
First take out the stinger, next apply an ice cube wrapped in a paper towel first, then the Benadryl.

7. My mom used to put baking soda mixed with water on it
or a very hot tea bag.

Works like a charm. I still do that, though the last sting I had was a scorpion not a bee.

8. I've always used a paste of baking soda and water like my mother did.
It always seems to lessen the pain, redness and swelling. I've also heard that vinegar works the same way, but I've never tried it.

11. I'm allergic to them.
One day I was picking through a truck load of apples and I was covered up except for the webbing of my gloves between my fingers and of course the bee found it !! I got all hot and broke out and then I had tunnel vision. However, I like bees.

Woodswomans salve or other name works like a miracle. It's all natural, and works like a charm. You'd never know you were stung. I swear by it! They might have a website now. It's good stuff!
