What's for dinner, people?
I'm about to go to the store (and yes Sniffa, you are too) to get ingredients to make up a homemade pizza with homemade sauce. That's what we're having tonight. :9

Tomorrow is all-day pasta sauce day. :bounce:

What are you having? :hi:

4. We be grilling.
I made potato salad, pasta salad (which is utterly delicious, but I will never be able to replicate because I didn't follow a recipe, LOL) coleslaw, caesar salad and grilling fixins. Burgers, dogs, chicken, whatever the little freepers want.

recipe with olives, celery, elbow macaroni, onions and tuna.

Stuff is awesome. I could live on it.

11. I never use a recipe for pasta salad, either.
We eat it as a Thanksgiving Day fixture--not at the actual dinner, but all day beforehand while the food is cooking. I usually make it with radiatore, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese cubes, roma tomatoes, black olives, cucumbers, broccoli, red pepper strips, whatever I happen to have on hand. And italian dressing, of course. :9

6. I love homemade pizza.
We just came from our neighborhood's block party, so I probably won't be hungry for dinner for a while. There were burgers, hot dogs, three kinds of potato salad, lettuce and tomatoes, beans, chips, cookies, brownies, and watermelon.

fairly certain there's no cornflakes involved though.

I've been having a crappy ass day (another depressive episode, yay) and I could use the food and company. I have no appetite and haven't had a proper meal since Thursday lunch.

Were carmelizing homegrown leeks a friend gave us, and adding prosciutto, homemade basil pesto, and pecorino cheese.

Never had leeks on a pizza before

34. Tofu and veggie stir fry with tons of ginger and garlic
I decided since stir fry doesn't reheat well I should eat the whole thing. :9 I've had problems in the past with tofu being mushy but if you dice it in say 1/2" x 1/2" pieces after pressing and stir fry it's not bad.

hummus, potato salad for him, ceaser salad for me. Rhubarb upside down cake. Vodka tonics.

Tomorrow: chicken that is currently marinading in lime, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, fresh ground pepper; brown rice with the simmered marinade on it and lightly steamed broccoli.

Monday it's supposed to be cooler and rain so it will be cubed pork loin with green chili sauce in the crock pot, supper ready when I get home.

44. Water - maybe, if we go really insane,
ice water.

We did a bad thing today - after haircuts and other things on our lists, we parked outside our favorite Chinese restaurant, toked up some incredible stuff, and then went to lunch.

It wasn't pretty. At one point, we were laughing so hard, we couldn't even eat.

We got over that fast.

Ice water, and a vow to live clean forever and ever................................
