So I have a doctors appointment on Monday.....
To follow up on my swollen lymph nodes that Mayo found. To my surprise the receptionist recognized me because they got the referral packet from Mayo. Which is good. Hopefully the doctor will look at it before I get there.
But still. I'm gonna spend the weekend worrying (like I did last weekend). I should've called sooner I suppose....x(

2. Be kind to yourself.
You are holding it together under a tremendous burden. Now it is nodes, more than one swollen node?

I dug further into the paperwork and it says..."enlarged left axillary lymph nodes".

4. Have you considered an attorney?
End the insurance battle once and for all? The threat of a lawsuit speaks loudly. I have been appalled by the denial tactics insurance companies use, just hoping the insured will give up. I am resisting using swear words here. (Oh fuck it, the greedy assholes should rot in hell)

Don’t sweat it until you know, and hope it is a simple injury or something benign. Worst case scenario Sue, you caught it early.

5. No, Mayo actually does a really good job fighting for me.
Its just these fuckers are looking for any excuse. I suspected this would happen because I know I was on a 6 month trial "approval" after the last battle. Its just a matter of having their medical personel look at the data. My recent trip to Mayo also very much strengthens my hand in this as my bloodwork was really really good.

8. Two steps forward, one step back.
So a fight every six months isn't so bad. However, right now it would be nice if things could be all good for a while.

7. I think I know how you feel right now
I had some gastro-intestinal problems a little while back and it really set me on the straight and narrow after I found out it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Scared the hell out of me and got me to quit smoking. It really made me think about things. It also turned out that after a diagnostic proceedure they found something that could have been a really bad problem for me if it was left untreated. So the original illness that got me to the doctor in the first place was really a blessing in disguise.

I'm usually good with words, but I don't seem to be right now so I will give you one of these:
