other than during a name change amnesty. You have to start a new account. I just changed names on Thursday. And, really, it feels good starting over again, besides the insinuations of me being a troll. :)

I'm pretty sure there are some other DUers who changed names not in an amnesty period who kept their post count. Perhaps there were extenuating circumstances that I don't know about.

Looks like you posted here just after I walked out the door to get some exercise. We have what are called Metroparks here and there is one really close to my house. I just did a 2 mile hike and I feel surprisingly good. I'm in better shape than I thought I was. Didn't really even break a sweat and there's some pretty steep hills in there.

She was surprised just to see me again and really surprised to see me 70 pounds lighter. I hadn't seen her since I was 290 pounds. She seemed a little disappointed when I told I would not be returning for regular visits, but she knew I was feeling a lot better and that it was in part her doing. In other words, I was treated successfully. I wish I could be her friend outside of the office. She is a genuinely empathic, intelligent, and fun person to be around. I will pay her a visit again after I reach my weight loss goal.

And it turns out that I'm in better shape than I thought I was. We took the 2 mile trail through the Cox Arboretum Metropark here in my hometown of Dayton. There were some pretty steep hills in there and I was able to take them all without stopping; barely even got out of breath. I was going to take my camera and take some picture to post, but I left it behind for some reason. I was really pleased with myself. It's the first time I've done anything like that in a long time.

I bought and moved into my own house on February 2 and it's made a tremendous difference in my outlook. My divorce was finalized mid-April and wow... it feels different. Better. Next, I need a job but I'm thinking of getting my MA in social work/counseling, since it's a great interest and in this area, in great demand.
