The newest Kitteh pictures are here!
They grow up so quickly. Another two weeks or so and these little angels are heading off to their new homes. They are 100% mobile now -- running everywhere they can -- which is fun to watch on a hardwoord floor. They have made it up on the couch and discovered the joys of traction -- I came upstairs to see all four of them making a racing circuit around the couch -- up the arm, across the back, down the arm, across the seats, up the arm -- all at top speed.

And they have finally started to make voluntary contact with me -- got my first lap sit and tummy rub with purring out of one of the little black ones.

God I love me some kittehs. :)

2. Yup, they are going to great homes --
the new "owners" are various friends and all have come by to check in on the kids and get info on them. I am making up little scrapbooks of photos and movies I;ve takem that will go home with each of them. It will be a sad day, but I have 5 of my own to keep me from being sad for too long. :hi:

11. The grey tiger looks just like mine...
She was a stray and was already an adult when I took her in, but that shot of your little tiger with the polka-dot tummy looks like my Gabby. She must have looked just like that as a kitten. Thanks for the pictures.

3. That one blackie one looks like he'll be a handful (tongue sticking out)
they are all adorable.

Only thing I regret about my 2 cats I adopted as adults. I never saw them as kittens (perhaps Evita wouldn't be so neurotic) and I never saw what kittens from them would look like

6. He is the one that has kind of --
glommed onto me first -- he is actually very sweet -- he just looks evil. :D It is funny how they all have very distinct personalities and temperaments -- we've got a Space Cadet, a Momma's Boy, a Popular Girl, and Stand Up Guy.

I had someone asking me to hand over one of the kittens at 5 weeks! The poor thing still couldn't hardly walk and wasn't eating food at all, let alone all the socializing that the little thing needed. (They aren't getting a kitty now.) All the cats I have raised from kittens over the years have all turned out to be fairly emotionally healthy adult cats -- I let them stay with Mom a good long time, and take time to let them socialize at their own pace. My neurotic cats have all been rescues who were traumatized strays or left Mom/siblings too soon. My abby/tabby is 5 years old and still tries to nurse my earlobes and has pee issues -- she had been taken from her Mom when she was tiny. :(

Your adult adoptees were very lucky to find someone to love them just as they are! :hi:

7. I wake up 20 minutes early each morning ---
just so I can watch them play before I head to work. It's a great way to start the day in a good mood! :D

9. How adorable!
Is this your first time fostering? Will you do it again?

I fostered three dogs, but I'm taking break until we move into a bigger house. It sucks seeing them go, but at the same time, it's a wonderful feeling.
