So, if there is any doubt how good, or realistic my sound system sounds...

I am listening to my new Alison Krauss CD, A Hundred Miles Or More, and one of the songs is a Duet with James Taylor.

Anyway, I hear a knock on my door and it is one of my neighbors who came over to tell me I have an amazing singing voice...

She looked a bit embarrassed when I told her I was not singing.

edit: I infact have an AWFUL singing voice...

3. I love Miz Alison!
I will have to go grab her new CD. I loved the album "Raising Sand" with Robert Plant. I cannot get enough of this woman's singing.

Awesome system, BTW. What is it?

But on your point about not having a singing voice, I was not given that gift either. But I think not having a singing voice, lets me appreciate those that can sing even more.

And I think every person is given a unique way to sing songs, so there is always that.

However I don't put to much importance in actual songs, since you never know where they are coming from, instead it seems deciding which ones you like, not what they all say, is the things I like to think on. I do know that the verse "My sheep know my voice" But I believe that is because we have been given his love in our heart, but by the 'knowing' being of the heart it is still a choice, in that it is faith. To claim truely knowing is to claim to know as much as God, which is not a claim I make. But you can believe you know.
