Feature Request: Update the posting editor

It's 2009 people. This site needs a little web 2.0 action. how about a simple WYSIWIG editor? Standards based Wiki codes for formatting? tag clouds? dynamic sorting?

i'll volunteer to pitch in. i do this stuff for a living for very large commercial websites...

let's bring the same technology that obama's team is using to DU!!!!
There was a time that the whitehouse website was well behind anything on the web, and especially DU.

this is no longer the case.

i suspect we'd get more core support on GD:P if we were a little more friendly to younger users that are used to facebook, twitter, etc.

2. You need to email admins, especially elad.

There used to be an Ask the Administrators forum, but that went away a long time ago. Now you just email them directly.

8. I'd be happiest if the editor allowed me to suggest properly spelled words

that it doesn't currently recognize. I know having a function to add new words can't work because people would abuse it. So, a suggestion button would work best :D
