Personal question: How old were you the first time that you had...
Chex.

I think it was when I was around 15. I think it was corn Chex, though later I switched to Wheat Chex and still love them.

I didn't try to sugar coat it, but it was sweet especially with the bananas.

3. I'm pretty sure I was in high school, and it was in the form of Chex Mix.
I've never eaten any of the Chex cereals as cereals - fucking gross.

But I love Chex Mix.

6. Pretty young.
My parents had bridge parties and made chex mix all the time. That's what I said, my parents liked to mix up their chex! Anyway, I always snuck some hot from the oven. Yes! I had hot chex at a young age!

8. I've never married, and don't believe in Chex before marriage
But seriously, I'm celiac, and nearly every mass-market cereal contains barley malt (a no-no). On the celiac sites, Chex is advertising that Rice Chex is now gluten free. So I'll probably buy some just to support this wonderful move. (Also, maybe I can make rice krispie treat type desserts with them.)

9. I was very young. Not sure how young - it was back in the 70s, the days when
the Chex Mix flowed freely.

10. I don't recall the age but I was pretty young
It had to have been at a friend's house because Chex was too exotic a victual for my clan.

13. It all started when I was very young. At first, I just had Rice or Corn Chex from time to time
Later, I ate it more frequently. Eventually I started dabbling in Chex Mix and even occasionally Cheddar Chex Mix.

18. First time around 8... by 10, i had gone hardcore
Mom got us Rice Chex, and i thought it was cool that they crackled the same way that Rice Krispies did.

By 10, i had shifted all of my cereal wants from sugary things to Mini-Wheats and Wheat Chex (especially the kind they had for a while that had raisins as well).

Those are still my favorites 30+ years later. :hi:

20. I loved Rice Chex - started early on, by 7 at least
The Chex preference table was: Rice, Corn, Wheat (and I really wasn't crazy about wheat).

I hate it when they get soggy. I like them as those snack things from the 1960s parties.
