Thinking of selling my home in NoVirginia -- anyone interested?
It's about 65 miles west of Washington DC, on a mountain with about 1.5 acres. Three bedrooms, three baths (two baths have shower only, one bath has shower/tub), two story (bottom story is basement built into hill, has separate entrance), 2 car attached garage, wood floors (real wood, not cheap-o laminate planks).

Would be considered an "aesthetic" fixer-upper; all systems sound (electric, plumbing, septic, well, etc.) but some of the outside stucco needs repainting, garden wall needs some repair, a few things like that. Outside a combo of stucco/wood panels. New roof.

Lots of wildlife: deer, foxes, raccoons, possums, squirrels, seasonal hummingbirds, cardinals, woodpeckers, you name it. About 1/2 mile from state forest hiking trail. Because of all the animals, you'd have to be an animal lover to even consider living here, all the neighbors tolerate them (and why not, they were here first!), I feed a feral cat or two, etc.

Anyway, we're deciding about moving in the next month or so, if anyone's interested, let me know and I'll contact you when we have photos.

1. Leesburg?

Sorry I live in Richmond. Just got married to a girl from up there. Whew! Glad I talked her into moving down here, way to crowded but good luck my friend

2. No, out near Linden, which is about 15 miles west of Warrenton...
route 66...

Leesburg used to be lovely, but it's been built up like crazy the last 5-7 years. What a shame.

Not crowded out here... though becoming more so as people commute into DC.
