Great Alice site with Tenniel illustrations
Just a link for other fans in case you have not seen this one; I had asked the admins if we could get Alice avatars and this is one of the sites I sent them for some great illustrations.

4. It's WONDERFUL!
It takes the story and presents it with oodles of notes in the margins that explain the mathematics behind some of the characters' paradoxical utterances, identification of the models for some of Tenniels drawings, popular songs of the time that Carroll parodies in, say "Soup of the Evening"; notes on how the characters dress, like the carpenter's hat; notes on the chess moves.

If you love this classic masterpiece, you will greatly enjoy getting some context for its content.

10. The easiest way would be to
sweet talk Elad into adding it to the DU avatar list. Try a message in the Bug/Features forum directing him to this thread.

If he's not able to do that for you,let me know. We'll figure something out.

11. I did ask the admins and got a response that it was a good idea, so I
sent a link to someone and have not heard anything yet, but that was just today or yesterday I think so I am being patient!

"The Annotated Alice" by Martin Gardner is one of my favorite books ever!

Note: I have a paperback copy that I bought in the 80s, but all they carry now at B&N is a hardcover edition.
