Two youtube clips that give me goosebumps
1) Bill Graham introducing The Grateful Dead at The Great American Music Hall in 1975 at an invitation only performance. You can hear each instrument come in as individual band members are introduced.

2) Nirvana - All Apologies - MTV Unplugged

1. I'll see your two goosebumps and raise you two of my own
1). Eric Clapton, "Love Minus Zero / No Limit," from the Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Concert...a song that was in the video but NOT on the CD, which is ridiculous. When he sings "My love she's like some raven, at my window with a broken wing" and launches into the second solo, it's an adrenaline rush EVERY time. And the backing band? David Letterman's band AND Booker T & The MGs AND Jim Keltner AND SNL's G.E. Smith:

2). Hall & Oates, "Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid"

Coincidentally, G.E. Smith is in this one too since he was a regular member of Hall & Oates' band in their glory days. I've always loved the look of the video, too, but it's the crashing guitar chords resolving into Hall's "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...." (starting around the 2:36 mark) that slays me:

2. Here's one that does it for me
Alice In Chains -- "Nutshell" -- MTV Unplugged

Similar to your first clip with everyone coming on one by one, and instruments coming in, with Layne Staley arriving last and just in time to come in with the first verse. Staley is clearly fucked up in this clip (in the throes of a heroin addiction that would eventually kill him), but the performance (coupled with the song lyrics) are enough to give you chills. Amazing.

14. Hope you liked it
The song this EP is from ("Jar of Flies") was playing at the local bar the night I heard about Kurt Cobain's death, so it's always got that connection for me.

and it is interesting how we associate songs, etc. with celebrity deaths.

I've been a huge Deadhead since the early 70's, and going to Dead shows used to be somewhat of a catharsis for me.

In 1995, I was driving to my bank to close on a mortgage refinance (of all things), and I had the radio on. I'm about a half mile from the bank, and the Dead song "He's Gone" comes on the radio. Well, my ears naturally pricked up when I heard the first few notes, and the announcer comes on and says "We have some sad news to report out of San Francisco". I knew what he was going to say...I pulled over, and so did several cars around me...it was surreal.

He announced Jerry's death, and I looked over at some people pulled over near me, and we just looked at each other and shook our heads.

I was quite upset, and had to try to get my shit together for the closing...it was like a dream.

Then, when I went back to work...I had to listen to tacky Jerry Garcia death jokes for a few weeks. It was awful...I felt like a good friend had died and nobody understood.
