Is my seatbelt causing this?

Some of my slacks get "Pills" or just looking scruffy just at the bottom of, and below the left pocket.

At first I thought keys in my pocket were causing this so I quit putting keys in my pocket.

Now I think it's my seatbelt, which I always wear (thanks to the OP of that thread for reminding me to post about this.)

What can I do to prevent this?

2. You have several options:

(1) Stop wearing pants
(2) Stay out of cars
(3) Deliberately cultivate a scruffy style so your pants match the rest of you

I use one to keep the seatbelt from digging in my shoulder. I don't know if it would work with pants.
