So Wolverine has this superduper healing ability, right?
Canonical sources show him regenerating back to full strength in minutes even when reduced to bare adamantium bones.

So what happens if you cut him in half?

For that matter, what happens when he shaves or cuts his fingernails? What part of his endlessly retconned physiology gets to decide which chunk of him is the chunk from which the regeneration begins?

1. Each half regrows. You get two Wolverines
Although the one that regrows from the leg part dosn't have any personality, education, language skills, or intellect yet.

Hmmm... unless you cut him in half longitudinally. THEN each half regrows into a Wolverine with a fully-functioning brain. Although one is really science-y and one is really artsy.

6. You dumbasses.
Mutant superpowers don't show up until puberty, unless it's some gross physical deformity like Nightcrawler's tail.

Duh.

7. So when are they going to do a storyline
in which somebody goes back in time and kills Wolvie when he was like 9 and non-regenerating?

5. It was hers.
They had to do the belly button thing at the same time, just cuz.

Mom didn't care, as I understand. She's just happy that even though he was stressed on the way out, the claws didn't...you know.
