1. Leader of the Pack. The Shangri-La's ruled!
I was only about 6 but I loved that album; and their fashion sense influences me to this day!

2. Can't stand HOTRS
Probably the most overplayed tune behind Stairway to Heaven.

3. Shit, I change my vote!
I voted for "I Feel Fine" before noticing "Ticket to Ride" which is a superior song.

6. All of them!
There isn't a song on that list that isn't superior to anything I've heard on the radio in the last 20 years.

And no, this isn't nostalgia speaking. My kids agree with me that most current music sucks -- and that the stuff that doesn't suck never gets on the air.

I love almost everything on that list with a deep and abiding passion (even "Leader of the Pack," which I found tacky at the time but eventually came to respect), and I refuse to choose among them.

Get the picture?

8. "Ticket to Ride" in a squeaker over The Big O.
Part of me wanted to vote for the Shangri-Las, but their best song -- "Remember (Walking in the Sand)" -- never made #1. :(

9. What, no "Satisfaction?"
Tough, I know, but should have been listed. You could have done virtually all Beatles and Motown from that era, and good stuff it surely was.

11. I Feel Fine. One of the Beatles' best.
Nice little distortion on the guitar in the beginning, nice unconventional drum pattern, great harmonizing and some real feeling in the verses.
