why is it that a gal who's not a cover-girl beauty is thought to be a dumb-ass stupid piece of **** that can't possibly DO anything worthwhile -- whereas a guy can be ugly as **** and be given credit for whatever kind of talent he does have.

I love that this thing has hit the headlines, to remind people of how shallow it is to be shallow.

She shouldn't care whether she wins any contest at this point, she oughta cut her self some albums just singing whatever kind of songs most float her boat, and she will be a millionnaire overnight.

I'd buy her music, just because her voice IS truly beautiful and her story is so inspiring.

People, if you don't wanna read anymore about her don't click on the links . . . . oh, I forget, TV people probably have a bit of overkill hitting their screens on this lovely lady.
