Im sad, I just had to take off my HBO package, and remove the internet from my phone.
I work in wired and wireless sales for AT&T over the past six months my income has fluctuated slightly like normal but it is about $500 less than I used to make. My statistics and target averages are good just there is way less volume. Right now Im supporting me and my wife, who is finishing grad school and then she has to take the CPA. So boo, good vibes would be appreeshed, im just glad atleast there is still demand for my industry even if it has diminished. Will also have to cut back on my herbal therapy some;).

1. Good luck.
So many people are cutting back. We still have HBO. We wanted to cancel it, it has become repetitive and the programming is generally insipid. However when my DH called, he was told that because we had bundled on a special deal, our bill would actually be higher.

3. I've dropped Blockbuster.com, Audible,com, reduced my cable package...
and a few other things I'm forgetting right now. (This is aside from drastically reducing eating out, not renewing our annual membership to the local zoo, etc.) Fortunately these have been things I really have not missed.

In the next few months I'm anticipating the belt tightening to move from "you might feel a pinch" to "this is gonna hurt."

4. I went through my bank statement last month
and started dropping things I could live without, too. I bet Netflix and Blockbuster have taken quite a hit overall. Problem with some extras, though, is they have you under contract. It costs too damn much to drop them.

6. You can watch movies online for free here:
http://www.watch-movies-links.net/

The internet is too small and boring on the phone anyhow. I've tried that. Give me my 17 inch monitor any day.

Hope you can still get to enjoy the movies on the link above. I sure do. Screw paying for HBO to show me 95% crap and 5% decent programming. This way I just pick what I want to see and go download it.

8. I did the belt tightening last month
I even called my car insurance company of 40 years to ask them to change my insurance policy so I can pay less each month. Here in California having car insurance is reguired.

9. I had to put up an antenna, no more pay TV.
I went from a brazillion channels to four. I have also made other adjustments, my income is going to drop from 4400 to 1200 a month.
