I have to share this information- 100% natural weed control.

I put in a fence last year & now have been trying to figure out the best way to control the grass growing at the base of it. I have six dogs & didn't want to use chemicals on the grass. I also feel chemicals are bad for the environment in general. The weed whacker won't work due to the string hitting the wire.

Simple solution? Vinegar, soap & water! Try it, it works great although it doesn't kill the roots.

1. Vinegar and lemon juice does.

It works as well as RoundUp on warm sunny days, but it does make the soil acidic so you have to keep that in mind when you decide to apply it somewhere (as in don't use it around your flowers).

2. I used vinegar to kill the weeds snaking through a crack in our driveway.

They were too strongly rooted for me to just pull them. Used on a sunny day, it works quite well.
