Everyone in the lounge on a Friday night instead of going out is an effing LOSER
including moi .

I think I insulted the whole lounge , or maybe I salted the lounge , bringing tears into it's eyes and causing it to cough , a lot .

5. Some of us are just old
been there, done it and got the badge. Over it.

One positive thing about getting older...you don't have to worry that you're missing something by sitting at home. Cause you know you're not. I love being at home...alone. :)

9. I so agree.
I like my house.

I do like to go out and just drive at night.

We have a lot of 24 hour stores here, night time is a good time to shop.

Somehow, I'm just not offended.

Besides, even if I was seeing somebody tonight, I'd try to con her into spending the night in the DU Lounge anyhow. Any woman I ever go out with hears about DU very early on and must show at least a little curiosity about the place (or at least politics, in general) for me to green light any further communication. It's just a barometer/litmus, if you will, as to how interesting the woman would be. If her brain doesn't at least register curiosity on some level when it comes to politics, she's relegated to the Mrs. Right Now only list. Brains brains brains. Brains mean everything. The LAST thing I'd ever want would be to end up with the woman who calls 911 because she cannot figure out how to unlock her car from the inside.

I'm not sure why.

Besides, it's windy and dark out there.
