I am livid!!! Dish Network vs. Viacom

I have Dish Network. The just pulled ALL their Viacom stations today. That means no Nick, no Comedy Central, no VH1. More specifically it means no Blues Clues for my son, no Jon Stewart for me and my hubby, and no mindless VH1 pop culture crap for me.

I couldn't be more pissed.

I'm trying to get Direct TV installed. I am going to call Dish and tell them to cram their equipment up their butts!

I pretty much only watch Viacom stations. We live on Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, and VH1.

Murdoch is about to own DirecTV and I was canning it. Now what? I need info but not at the cost of lining the Creep's pockets.

Dish has pulled ALL Viacom channels including CBS.
I don't care about missing that, but they declared war on my family when they took out Comedy Central and Nickelodeon.

5. I'm still getting CBS east and west coast.

I'm thankful for that at least. I use to have Primestar which was taken over by DirectTV. I had to switch to dishnetwork because DirectTV would not give us the local channels.

It's funny because I live in the country and even with a rooftop antenna I could only pick up CBS. There is zero reception for NBC, Fox, and ABC. I need to get the local channels via a satellite and dish was the only one to accomodate me. I only live 4 miles outside the city limits but the cable company said it is not worth it to bring cable out here. That's fine, satellite has a much sharper picture.

P.S. I miss comedy central too.
