I admit it - I often wolf my food. And even when I'm not in a hurry, I can't guarantee that each Cheerio is fully chewed or every Rice Krispie fully crushed. Not all that long ago there were Rules for Mastication, and parents would monitor theit children at the dinner table. The possibility that these rules were important causes me to worry that I'm an abusive masticator.
Does it show? Will I be denied health insurance because of it? Can a doctor be sued for malpractice for not asking about it? That's why I think there should be an update of the Rules. I'm looking forward to guilt-free mastication.
