White teeth, really white teeth

Whiter than white teeth are getting so commonplace on TV...am looking at Suzie Orman on CNBC right now and am so distracted by her white choppers that I don't know what she's talking about..

Are teeth getting too white? Sometimes they are so bright that there seems to be hardly any separation between the teeth and it looks like the person has something in their mouth other than teeth...like a piece of really white plastic.

Oh well. I think it's just me.

(I notice the President has whiter teeth lately and it's a little distracting, but that's probably just me, again.)

1. I agree completely!!!!!!!!!!

Granted, people on TV should have slightly whiter than normal teeth because it shows up better. People who are never on TV don't need it. Nobody needs glow in the dark choppers!

3. The aesthetic rule of thumb

is that your teeth should never be whiter than the whites of your eyes.

Otherwise is looks weird.

Having said that, I've never bleached mine, which are the color of old ivory, but all there (including wisdom teeth) and only two surface cavities at age 53.

I think excessive bleaching will eventually rot your teeth.

4. A natural way to whiter teeth is a strawberry and baking soda.

Just once a week, make a mixture of the above ingredients and let sit on your teeth for a few minutes. Rinse.

5. I was going to post a picture of bad teeth but after typing "Rotten Teeth" in Google...

..images, I almost puked.

8. my daughter has super white teeth, she used the crest white strips and followed the

directions to the letter and holy shyte did those things work. Anyhow she's had 2 sets of braces, pallet expanders, head gear and elastic configurations of every kind and her teeth look fabulous.

My parents weren't good about that stuff at all so a beautiful healthy smile was the one awesome thing i could give her and she's wonderful at taking good care of her smile.
